Although either a Biden or Trump administration would have fairly similar end goals for regulating the flow of data, they likely will take different approaches. In contrast to President Trump's targeting TikTok and WeChat, a Biden administration would most likely not create an arbitrary deadline for a purchase of a company like TikTok by a US company.
