MICCI says the government could have done more, but MEF says the government did what it could. FMTNews MICCI SME Budget2021 Incentives

Shaun Cheah of MICCI says the government did not do enough for businesses, while Shamsuddin Bardan of MEF says the government did what it could.

“Our stand has always been that dishing out goodies to the rakyat helps but it’s not sustainable in the long run. What is needed is to sustain businesses,” he told FMT. However, Malaysian Employers Federation executive director Shamsuddin Bardan said that the government did what they could.
