2 of the 11 new imported COVID19 cases today are linked to a Singapore PR who had travelled to the UAE under the Business Travel Pass

who had travelled to the United Arab Emirates under a Business Travel Pass and had tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov 7.The two new cases linked to the 47-year-old are a Singaporean who arrived from the UAE and a dependant's pass holder who arrived from Pakistan.

The remaining two cases are short-term visit pass holders who came from Indonesia and Myanmar to visit their family members in Singapore.Twelve more COVID-19 cases were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 58,002 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged, MOH said.

The members have met regularly since they first convened on Oct 13 to “discuss the profiles of various vaccine candidates, as well as the conditions for their deployment in Singapore’s context”, said the ministry.
