Price tag of flood cleanup still unknown, B.C. finance minister says

British Columbia’s finance minister says it’s still too early to put a price tag on the cleanup and repairs ahead after recent floods and landslides in the southern part of the province.

First Nations’ response to B.C. floods held up as a model to help mitigate damage from future disasters The council has forecasted that the province’s economy will grow by 5.3 per cent in 2021 and 4.2 per cent in 2022, which is above the national GDP estimates of 4.9 and 4.1 per cent, respectively.
