PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has sidestepped media queries on talk that he will contest the Kuala Selangor parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15).

"At the moment I am focused on my work at the Ministry. There are a lot of issues we are facing that need to be resolved.

"We also have to focus on economic recovery. So let me focus on this," the Finance Minister told reporters at a Hari Raya event on Wednesday .Asked if he was considering becoming a candidate in GE15, Tengku Zafrul gave the same reply.Talk is rife that he will be contesting the Kuala Selangor seat, currently held by Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad of Parti Amanah Negara.

Tengku Zafrul will Win in Kuala Selangor if contest for GE15. I dont care about ECRL but he is the man who manage to get the Stolen Money form 1MDB where LGE has done nothing about it. Meaning tzafrul_aziz Simply do His Job Brilliantly.
