Beacon Roofing Supply buys Jacksonville waterproofing supplier - Jacksonville Business Journal

A Jacksonville construction supply company has been acquired by Virginia-based publicly traded roofing supply company, Beacon Roofing Supply.

In a time of high material costs, Coastal CEO Martin Harrell told the Business Journal that the company was looking to expand. Coastal Construction Products has 18 branches, including Florida markets such as Tampa, Miami and Orlando, with its reach extending to locations in Chicago, Charlotte, Nashville and Atlanta. The release said 200 Coastal Construction Products employees will join Beacon.
