When she realized how much she was spending on takeout and food waste, making a visual weekly meal plan saved her budget

I bought at Target was divided into seven different sections — each one representing a specific day of the week. I stuck it on the fridge and started planning out my meals in two-week chunks. Here's how I use it:Instead of just creating a list or shopping for foods we like to eat, I assign a specific dinner to a specific day on the whiteboard using the groceries I plan to buy

My meal plan for two weeks is written down on the whiteboard either before I go to the store or prior to submitting my online grocery order, or during the process of putting food away once I buy it

Definitely need a budget and a meal plan. It's so easy to just blow shitloads of cash on rubbish food every night.
