Ever since the post-war Bretton Woods arrangements institutionalized the dollar as the world's main reserve currency, it remains dominant: 60 percent of countries use the greenback as their anchor currency.

Given how screwed up the rest of the world is, an argument could be made the dollar should be much stronger. What are the alternatives? The flaky Eurozone Euro? The Yen? (lol) The Yuan? (double lol)? No other game in town except perhaps Bitcoin.
