Image: PA A ROADSIDE BOMB attack has targeted a Baghdad suburb, killing at least 30 people and wounding dozens at a crowded market, Iraqi security officials said.Two Iraqi security officials said at least 30 people were killed and dozens more wounded in the powerful explosion.

Shopkeepers recounted to security forces how the blast occurred as they salvaged what items they could.“They are targeting our civilians in Sadr City on the eve of Eid,” Salih said on Twitter. “They do not allow people to rejoice, even for a moment.”There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing, but the Islamic State group has claimed similar attacks in the area before.
