Antel said franchisors likely have no legal right to shut down franchises in Russia. He said he's negotiated one contract — out of hundreds — where a hotel owner in Russia wanted the contractual right to walk away if an international incident made it detrimental to his broader business interests.However, he said he now expects contractual exit options to be much more common in the future.
