Not to have to pay 11,000 means more money going into top execs pockets

So will the government be halting running ads on Facebook like they did on twitter? Or was that purely based on the platform's owner's perceived political views?

Facebook is archaic and it has hit its peak of success years ago. It's going to die out like Myspace did. Unless VR becomes cheaper - It's okay to take the money and move on to a new social media project.

Not surprised. With Elon admitting the amount of money Twitter loses each month it is not surprising other 'social media' companies are in the same boat.
