CAE shares jump as quarterly results top expectations on flight simulator demand

share price surged after the company reported strong civil and defence performance in its second quarter results.

CAE says net income attributable to equity holders was $44.5-million, or 14 cents per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up from $14.0-million or 4 cents per share in the same quarter last year.
