He told his business partner he was 'in love' with her.

The pair - who run jewellery school Vanilla Ink - initially engaged in banter after the covid pandemic.

Glasgow Sheriff Court also heard that in May 2020 McIntyre, of Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, sent the woman a WhatsApp message.Prosecutor Gail Campbell said:"McIntyre informed [the woman] that he was in love with her."She said that she wished to keep the relationship strictly professional and wanted him to cease contact with her for the immediate future."

The woman used the company's email to tell McIntyre that she wanted to get the services of a mediator to assist in running the business and help facilitate contact.McIntyre responded:"How has this gone from being sympathetic saying it was not my fault to now being so cold with me and asking for outside help with it?"Miss Campbell added:"The attachment was a suicide note."A world without you and Vanilla Ink is not worth it.

His lawyer Sandy Morrison told the court:"He has to accept that he perhaps misread the signs [of banter].Mr Morrison added that there is an ongoing civil dispute with the firm formed in 2017.He said:"This behaviour should not have happened, you did not enjoy the experience of coming to court."
