PETALING JAYA: Anwar Ibrahim is expected to hold one-on-one meetings with prominent American business leaders on the sidelines of the upcoming 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders’ Meeting in the US.
Anwar will be in San Francisco, California, to lead the Malaysian delegation at Apec from tomorrow to Nov 17. Last week, Anwar had said he would attend Apec despite calls for Malaysia to boycott the summit because of the ongoing situation in Gaza.Anwar is also slated to take part in various events, including bilateral meetings with Apec leaders and the signing of a cybersecurity cooperation agreement between BlackBerry and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission .
