Despite the “4/20 events, April is historically the safest month,” new research says

It appears Colorado’s legal cannabis industry is a safe work environment when compared to other fields of employment.

Pinnacle’s numbers indicate that the most common on-the-job injuries in the cannabis industry requiring workers to file a claim are are: a strain; a cut; a fall; being “struck by” something; a “strike” .The cannabis-related businesses have made about half the claims as those in other fields, according to Pinnacol director of safety services Jim McMillen, who says work in the field is “relatively safe.

I find it so amusing. I see several cannabis stories in the media every day. Studies, impacts, blah blah blah. I hear absolutely nobody in real life even mention it. And I smoke pot. Nothing has really changed. Except something to do for reporters, I guess.
