The increase in consumer prices will be a jolt. Who does he think pays for these tariffs in the end. Will it really bring jobs back to USA ? That would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.
Unfortunate Americans don't know tariffs won't cost China anything as the price of Chinese goods will be increased to offset the tariff, no matter how steep. Trump's lack of knowledge in economics led to bankruptcies in business and will raise the price of goods for Americans.
