Americans on Friday will get their last major look at the state of the U.S. economy — the October jobs report — just four days before Election Day.

Sen. Marco Rubio, for example, a Florida Republican who is a onetime Trump critic turned unabashed supporter, has baselessly claimed that the surprisingly strong September jobs report.
