The study will examine safety issues, regulations around prefab buildings and export opportunities, particularly in the Asia-Pacific. Took 30 years to get a uniform construction code the Building Code of Australia - and it still contains state anomalies. The push by COAG to develop uniform builder licensing laws fell over in 2011. Bureaucracy at federal, state & councils ensures nothing of consequence happens.
