Like A Boss, follows best friends Mia and Mel , who run a cosmetics company together. The two get in over their heads financially and consider bringing in cosmetics titan Claire Luna as an investor. Mel and Mia's friendship is then put to the test as they try to earn back their company.
The trailer opens with Mia and Mel discussing dream sex while they brush their teeth in a Jack and Jill bathroom. "We are two badass queens like those bitches who raised Wonder Woman. We've worked our asses off. We've opened up our own store. We're winning," Mia lists of their accomplishments. Mel puts a damper on the moment when she reveals that their company is $493,000 in debt.
