– Some 15,000 people in the creative industry and 120 exhibitors from all over Central Visayas gathered at the IC3Pavillion Convention Center, Mabolo, Cebu City, September 12-13 for the “Cebu Design Week 2019.”
The event targets the province/region’s creative ecosystem to strengthen its design industries and reassert its position as the country’s premier destination for creativity and innovation, Booth added. “It is important in propagating the creative culture of a place by being inspired by fellow artisans,” Cobonpue said.
One of the main goals of the event was to showcase sustainable practices by using creative industries’ scrap materials into something new and relevant.
