SINGAPORE: A practising lawyer found himself standing sheepishly in the dock of the State Courts on Wednesday (Nov 6), after an alcohol-fuelled night out at Zouk nightclub in 2022.

SHANGHAI: Chinese investors and companies are showing increased interest in Malaysia, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He began the day by attending a dialogue session with Chinese investors organised by Khazanah Nasional Bhd. The investors included Chengwei Capital, a prominent venture capital firm with global semiconductor expertise, and NRL Capital, whose founders have been pivotal in developing high-tech industrial clusters in China.

"These investors will look at collaborating with Khazanah Nasional in building next-generation Malaysian companies to enhance Malaysia's presence in global supply chains, particularly in high-tech sectors. The Prime Minister is expected to depart from Shanghai in the afternoon, with Beijing as the next destination.
