Market Harborough reveals the key to being ‘liveable’: homes we can affordEast Midlands town is unexpected winner in a search for the best places for affordability and quality of life. Its proud residents explain why they like it Pity this is such a rarity. France has a totally different approach where affordable housing is available in every community, big or small. France invests massively in it's towns, villages, & roads. The UK hasn't done that in decades. We're miles behind, the UK is a dump tbh. I want a few fields in every town where we can live and retire while we still have a life. No work, no gov't bullshit , no tax . Just Music and self sufficiency. Be about 2 weeks before the tanks rolled in. bitterworld Interesting. It seems I am confirmed as the only person in the UK who really, really hates Market Harborough! I go there when I need to but would never choose to spend time there.
