Amazon is encouraging shoppers to pick up their packages in person from stores as the e-commerce industry prepares for a delivery surge

This has nothing to do with keeping gifts a secret. amazon wants to cut expenses associated with home delivery. Why would anyone want to help a billion dollar company, that doesn't pay taxes, save money?
