The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , has assured investors that the Nigerian government will continue to support efforts to broaden the economy through multilateral financing.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, disclosed this on Monday in a statement titled, ‘We appreciate your support for the Nigerian economy, President Buhari assures AfreximBank’. The President of the bank who came in the company of the Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, Wamkele Mene, thanked Buhari for honouring the invitation of the South African President to attend the Afreximbank-backed Fair, as he joins other Heads of State.
