No one has been injured but the Northern Cape traffic department has appealed to motorists to drive careful when approaching the scene of the accident as emergency personnel are still removing chemical spillage from the road.
Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergio Kock says the road will be opened after the road has been cleared. “The one truck with chemicals capsized 10 kilometers outside Hanover, the other truck carrying dog food is in a good condition, some of its sides are damaged. At this stage police are monitoring the situation and regulating the traffic, the road is still closed,” says Kock.
