CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says European and US stocks had “a bit of a bumpy ride” overnight but managed to “reclaim lost ground and finish generally higher”.

“In the case of the US markets, we had the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq finished

with improvements of around a quarter of a per cent,” he told Sky News Australia.
