MBAM president Oliver H.C. Wee said the years Samy served as the Works Minister , brought much advancement and development to the construction industry. “The advancement and development brought by Samy was a reflection of his character, which we will forever appreciate. May his legacy last forever and his soul rests in peace,” he said, adding that Samy was a recipient of the MBAM gold award in 2003, when he was the works minister.
