This makes no sense. Why not rather put in stricter quality controls and inspections, prior to buildings being built and / or signed off. It will save alot of time, effort and heartache. If we are expecting 80m worth of issues each year then something is truly rotten.

Why didnt they sue the builders or quarries insurance company ?

And will just be passed on to the end consumer....the price just went up.
