'The tech industry needs to encourage more diversity to ensure that people want to stay in the industry.'

Only one white presenter on out of eight presenters, maybe you have a story right under your own nose.

Why exactly? Does it matter what colour a person's skin is?

That is usual stereotypical bbc bollocks. bbc lies every second of every day

Let's hire people based on the colour of their labia/ identity.🙄 Tech is one of the most woke sectors out there, and have pushed the above for over a decade. Just keep pushing 'diversity' (9 out 10 means black lesbians).

There's great male/female south Asian participation, so that suggests there are no barriers based on ethnicity. Surely it's a case then of more black women needing to *want* to work in the industry and train up on coding?

No. You need to promote being hired on your talents instead of your race. That's how you get lackluster employees.
