Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove has said he is reviewing Liz Truss's plans for investment zones to boost growth, amid concerns about their impact on the environment.

Ms Truss had said her investment zones would help level up the country by spurring investment in regions outside London.

And, referring to Rishi Sunak's comments during his leadership campaign against Liz Truss - in which he described her policies as a"fairytale" - Mr Gove says the current prime minister has been"vindicated". She said her council has a plan and wants to create a new train station to improve transport links and create thousands of jobs, but it needs a government that"believes in investing alongside us".

The admission came after he was pointed to a Bloomberg report in June which found most areas identified as needing levelling going up are in fact going backwards.

Now what will the new government do? Seems they don’t care about our emergency by no means, just enjoy themselves.

According to Prophet Muhammad hadith: ALLAH give unmerciful people the dominant power against sinner Muslims who do not ask ALLAH forgiveness nor making enough good deeds to be replacement to them in the Hell-Fire in the 2nd life (This is one of ALLAH merciful for Muslims).

And let me keep more of what I earn

The only “investment zones” were bankers pockets!
