My Possibilities is one of the companies being honored with this year’s Leader in Diversity Awards. ClickMy Possibilities works to achieve its mission of helping individuals with disabilities secure jobs, an initiative often overlooked by most companies due to ideas that it’d be costly and time intensive, the company said.
“We’re changing the narrative of what accommodations in the workforce look like and how easy and affordable they are,”, executive director of My Possibilities, said. “Once more businesses learn this, we will see an increase in the employment rates of those with disabilities.” My Possibilities has a new Career Services building on the horizon, scheduled for completion in August 2023. The new 30,000-square-foot facility will allow over 300 adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities an opportunity to hone skills in one of six pathways — retail, administration, culinary, technology, facilities, and hospitality.
