US-based designers JerseyBird put together a SA National Team's concept jersey. How does it compare to the new Le Coq Sportif kits?Although the Le Coq Sportif custom Bafana jersey competition ended a while ago, a US custom jersey design company decided to share their own concept jersey for the SA national teams.US-based designers JerseyBird, who specialise in designing and manufacturing custom sports jerseys and apparel for US teams, recently shared a concept Bafana jersey.

JerseyBird has put together several concept football jersey designs, including re-depictions of Nigeria's Super Eagles kit as well as the Egyptian Pharaohs among others. JerseyBird's Bafana Bafana concept jersey is one of sixty designs they've done for national teams including the USA , Portugal, South Korea, Morocco and even India.

Their Bafana concept jersey saw them use the Protea national flower as inspiration, with elements of the national flower used in their detailing of their jersey. The yellow concept home kit also incorporates colours from the South African flag on the sleeves, to accentuate the outline of the Protea flower head detailing.

They also opted for Mamelodi Sundowns talisman and Bafana international Themba Zwane's name and number 11 on the jersey.
