COLUMBUS, Ohio — Short North resident Ronald Hayward woke up around 2:30 Sunday morning toHis neighbor had a bullet come through their window.Outside his window, ten people had been shot along North High Street, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Police said they found six victims, and four more turned up at the hospital. “That is very shocking, as much that goes on here with so many people and as much as you see the police out here. I wouldn’t have thought something like that would happen out here,” said Lovita Cosby, who works on North High Street.“It is kinda scary now cause I leave here kind of late so now I am more a little bit alarmed,” she said.
“We have a customer base here we can’t abandon. We have been here 24 years on this block. If I could take everything and go, I would,” he said. Police are still looking for a white Honda Civic that they believe the suspect took off in after the shooting.The suspect was described as a man wearing all black.
