Local crab business reopens after experiencing hardships

Bam's Crab Place a local seafood shop in Harrisburg has reopened after some hardships that caused it to close for nearly two years. The owner, Mrs. Bam, developed a love for seafood at a young age, but one sale was the start of it all. A couple of years ago, she was an employee at a local restaurant and frequently brought in crabs to eat. Her co-worker wanted to try some, and that interaction was her first sale. Since then, the orders haven't stopped, and the customers kept coming.

While searching for a new location, she sold seafood out of her car, temporary warehouses, and even her home.In March 2024, she opened a new location in Harrisburg located in Strawberry Square. After months of construction, stocking inventory, and passing inspection Bam's Crab Place was open for business. The customers picked back up right where they left off with Bam's favorites. Mrs. Bam says it's not about the money, but serving people affordable quality seafood.
