Scores of Ekurhuleni residents and surrounding areas, descended to the Tsakane Stadium for the Gauteng leg of the Imbizo.
Tsakane residents aired their frustration over the lack of employment opportunities, poor service delivery and challenges faced by small business.“As small businesses in Ekurhuleni are making us poorer and poorer every day. There are people who are beneficiaries here in Ekurhuleni. They always get paid every day without issues. As farmers, we want access to land. For us to plough and defeat food insecurity. We as volunteers in TsaDuze would like employment opportunities.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure Sihle Zikalala says the department is also working tirelessly to create job opportunities for young people.
