The super yacht industry has grown in Britain for the seventh year in a row according to new figures.The increase has allowed more workers to be employed, going up by 1% to 5,155.But one fewer new yachts were built, 45 this year compared to 44 last year.
Two-thirds of UK super yacht revenue comes from exports, with the US and the Eurozone accounting for half the UK export market.In 2017, the leisure boat industry reached its highest sales point since the financial crisis in part thanks to a demand from billionaires for super yachts.
