The Association of Small and Medium Enterprises said one in 10 companies in Singapore are ready to consider employees' requests for job sharing. Five years ago, 2% of firms offered such flexible work arrangements. The ASME said take-up is low as it is harder to make such arrangements for roles filled by professionals, managers, executives, and technicians. It added that job sharing is simpler to arrange for labour-intensive tasks.
