Britannia is investing millions of pounds into the Grand Hotel in Llandudno, which has faced criticism in recent years and is currently one of the lowest-rated hotels in the town on review sites like Tripadvisor. The hotel's prominent location next to Llandudno Pier has raised concerns about its impact on the resort as a whole.
The team disclosed to the Senedd member that the following investments have been made or are planned, reports North Wales Live . Finch-Saunders said: 'I would like to thank Britannia Hotels for listening and acting. It is truly fantastic news that over £5million is being invested in The Grand Hotel. I have seen first-hand some of the refurbished bedrooms rooms, the ball room, and restaurant. The team have done a brilliant job and retained the historic character of the property.
