An MP has called for a banking hub in a north Shropshire town after it was announced another bank would be closing its branch this year.

for residents who rely on the Lloyds branch in Cheshire Street, which will shut on November 27, two years after the nearby Barclays branch was closed.

"As much as anything, many people will be concerned that another town centre premises will now be left empty. Residents say they are concerned about how they will pay in cheques and access cash as well as missing the human interaction.
