If something is important to me, whether it be my monthly clothing subscription, daily tea, or an indulgent dinner, it will find its way into my budget., I have enough money in my emergency fund to cover about three months of expenses.

Unless your funds are managed by Madoff’s ilk. And assuming it’s even possible to cut into yr paycheck while keeping lights & heat on. But OK.
