Years ago I worked with a guy who followed this system - and he ran both into work and back home nearly every day. He'd been heavy as a kid and, while I certainly would not diagnose him, as I'm not an expert, he did not have what I would call a healthy relationship with food.

I really don’t see this as all that radical. If his one meal is big, and he moves thru his days cognizant of the fact he’s running on fewer calories, he’s probably getting all the nutrients he needs. And a lot less of the bad stuff he doesn’t.

I used to eat one meal per day as a teen when I was desperately trying to stop kids from fat-shaming me. I gave myself gallbladder disease by age fifteen. I'm so glad I stopped and followed a recovery program. jack your body your choice. Hope it turns out better for you.
