Netflix's 'The Witcher' still biggest show worldwide: sci-fi, fantasy - Business Insider

Netflix's hit fantasy series, "The Witcher," is slipping in audience demand in the US but is still the most in-demand TV series across all platforms globally, according to data firm Parrot Analytics.The show's worldwide popularity is good for Netflix as the streaming giant tries to grow its presence internationally.While US audiences might be losing some interest in Netflix's hit fantasy series, "The Witcher," it's still the biggest show worldwide.

"The Witcher" has slipped in recent weeks in the company's US audience-demand rankings for original streaming shows, which are provided to Business Insider on a weekly basis. Last week, it was third in the ranking, behind "The Mandalorian" and Netflix's "Stranger Things."

HenryCavillNews Netflix understood that there is an audience for „odd choices“ as long as it’s quality (Stranger Things, The Witcher). Also, the Witcher proves once again the power of good casting. Henry Cavill elevates the show, his love and enthusiasm for the source material shine through.

Don't know about losing steam. I am still rabid about it but after 6 viewings in about 2 months I am spending more time with the game while reading about filming of season 2. How about you back off on the 'not growing so must be dying' narrative.
