MANILA - Manila has waived the payment of rent in markets in the capital city until Luzon's enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus has been lifted, the City Council said in a resolution, Thursday.
This will "help mitigate the impact of the declaration of enhanced community quarantine, which will greatly affect their liquidity," according to the resolution passed on March 19, 2020.
