Now that the election is over, Biden is filling his cabinet with picks that don't align with those promises. Progressives fear that these choices signal a return to a miserable status quo, and are upset with the choices or prospects.This is an opinion column. willinabucket Here comes Biden's political tighrope. He built such a diverse coalition that he needs to please so many sides. Undoubtedly, progressives won't be happy. They weren't happy with Biden in the beginning anyway so obviously he's not going to have the same appeal as Sanders.
