In this photo taken on July 13, 2018, a worker throws components of electronic elements into a bin at the Out Of Use company warehouse in Beringen, Belgium. TORONTO -- As more Canadians replace their old electronics with new technology, one Ontario-based company hopes its initiative will combat the country’s electronic waste problem, one smartphone at a time.

The company’s goal is to dispose of electronics safely and securely, all while limiting the number of mobile devices that end up in landfills. While in Canada there is no legislation directed specifically at e-waste management, the federal government does have an indirect impact on e-waste regulation thought its toxic substance control legislation.

Picture is of circuit boards from really big cellphones,

Don't bring out a new model every year!!!

GreentecCA Component Modularity

I put them in the junk drawer.

Mining for the precious metals and the damage e waste has on our planet is horrendous. The save a tree and use electronics is the biggest scam humanity willingly jumped feet first into.

I have most of them still except my last iPhone which I sold. Always worried about the info on them and it getting into the wrong hands

I shove them up my ass and text it repeatedly with my new phone to get some sort of self punishment during these trying times. You should give it a go it's quite entertaining.
