A group representing 250 doctors in St Vincent’s Hospital has urged the government to approve the new National Maternity Hospital this week to avoid “further delays to this vital project”.

The Medical Board of St Vincent’s Healthcare Group, which represents more than 250 clinicians working across the hospital network, has written to Stephen Donnelly, the Minister for Health, to express its “overwhelming support” for relocating the National Maternity Hospital from Holles Street to their campus.
