Image: Twitter @MzandileMasinaMzwandile Masina has extended an olive branch to his contender, Doctor Xhakaza, asking him to work together to rebuild the African National Congress in the Ekurhuleni for the benefit of their residents.
Masina got 163 votes against Xhakaza’s 151 votes but he has not been confirmed as Regional Chairperson pending the verification of 19 votes from six disputed branches.Some delegates who were barred from participating in the conference protested outside the venue. They accused Masina and his supporters of conspiring to disqualify them in a desperate attempt to rig the elections.The region’s ANC Youth League said it was seeking a change in leadership ahead of the elective conference.It was pushing for former Treasurer Xhakaza as their preferred candidate.
1. So, the Delegates did not hear what David_Makhura was saying at the Conference about the Kind of ANC that would put the Interest of the Communities ahead of personal Interest?! mzwandileMasina has already lost the Mayorship which means the ANC lost Power.
4. I have just remembered a video of Mzwandile Masina being carried out of the Council Chambers by Security after he was obstructive on the day's proceedings. If that did not tell the ANC that Mzwandile has reached his 'sell by date', nothing will.
3. Does this Offer of Olive Branch mean that the Provisional Results have been made Final? The Creditation of those Candidates that were barred from Voting has not been resolved?
2. Like some Commentators have said, Let them Chose the Wrong Leaders so that they can finish off the ANC ahead of 2024 Elections. These Delegates who still think they will have Tenders by Chosing Mzwandile Masina are day dreaming just as much as Renewal is a Pipe Dream.

mzwandileMasina how do you build a party with leadership elected based on the slate? In process the factions hail insults against each other then reconciliation is goner be very difficult. But ke I'm happy that the RET has won so that they can finish destroying the ANC.
