Each view brought tears to my eyes. The Allen officer was unbelievably calm, on a mission and executed his duty to protect and serve unselfishly, perfectly.
The Feeding America organization reports on its website that more than 34 million people, including 9 million children, in the United States are food insecure, that 53 million people turned to food programs in 2021, and 100% of U.S. counties have food insecurity. In a country that wastes billions of pounds of food each year, it’s shocking that anyone in America goes hungry.
We’re seeing nothing less than a concerted effort to replace public, nonpartisan institutions with tax-funded systems dedicated to a particular ideology. This is undemocratic.
