MANCHESTER, Pa. — With the cut of a ribbon, Leg Up Farmers Market celebrated its 8th anniversary of serving shoppers in York County.
To mark the occasion, Leg Up Farmers Market doubled the size of its produce section and expanded offerings in the wellness aisle. The changes will allow nearby businesses to sell more of their products to customers at the market. Founder Louie Castriota said customers are not only supporting local farmers but also financially supporting—a therapy center for children with special needs. The money from the market allows Leg Up Farm to serve over 700 families each year.
