The Maggie May rocker has been forced to cancel a string of US shows recently due to ill health but he spoke out about his lack of pals in the country, perhaps sparking his desire to spend more time at home in the UK.

Sir Rod Stewart has admitted to not having many 'close' friends in Hollywood, with his luxury LA home currently on the market.

The Maggie May rocker holds LA as a fond place in his heart, especially following the construction of his breathtaking yellow luxury mansion which was reportedly on the market for $74m, after it was slashed down by £6m earlier this year. Rod revealed he does not have any famous friends because he cannot 'trust' other celebrities. He said: "I don't have any what I would call 'close' friends in Hollywood except for Ronnie Wood."
